The purpose of Zenmap is not to replace Nmap, but to make Nmap more useful. It comes pre loaded with 10 different scan types which we will take closer look at them in this article. ![]() Zenmap is the GUI for the very popular free port scanner Nmap. ![]() It is a multi-platform (Linux, Windows, Mac OS X, BSD, etc.) Hosts are shown as nodes on a graph that extends radially from the center. Zenmap is multiplatform tool which supports Linux, Ubuntu, Mint, Kali, Fedora, CentOS. ![]() Zenmap is an free and open source GUI designed to be used with nmap. As long as it inherits NMAP_PRIVILEGED, Zenmap will run Nmap with these capabilities. With 3 computers, 2 printers and a router, it's nice to be able to check up on them to see if anything funky is happening, especially with all of those router commandos out there.
